Programmer: Interrupted and the Impostor’s Syndrome

I found these two wonderful articles in my saved links, and I thought it’s worth sharing them.

The first one refers to the interruptions that we, as programmers, are often subjected to. How and why we lose focus, and what should we do to regain it faster (other than, you know, not accepting interruptions).

The second one is even more interesting. It’s about the Impostor’s Syndrome, the thing you feel when you’re doing your job well, but you know that there are plenty of people that are better than you. There’s the tendency of thinking that you’re an impostor, and you are appreciated despite your self-perceived lack of qualities.
